 OCTOBER 13 – IPHONE 12 EVENT


Apple’s iPhone 12 launch event may be held on 13th of October that is on Tuesday. According to many leakers and information shared by a person from UK cellular also confirmed this. Famous Apple news’ Websites like Macrumors and AppleInsider have also confirmed about the Apple iPhone 12 launch event on 13th of October.

 

Although there is no way to confirm or check the dates, but if we go according to the Apple’s past historic timelines, Apple launches its product on Tuesday and holds the event in second week of the month.


Jon Prosser, a prolific leaker took to his twitter account related to the dates. He also mentioned about the Event on October 13 and also added that the pre-ordering will start from 16th of October. iPhone 12 will be available on store from 23rd of September according to the information available with Jon Prosser. Jon Prosser can be trusted as the leaks and rumours or any other Apple news by him are fairly close enough or same. He also announced the dates of Apple’s September event before the actual announcement by Apple itself.


Apple iPhone 12 series’ lower cost models that are 5.4 inch and 6.1 inch namely Apple iPhone 12 Mini and Apple iPhone 12 will be available first in the month of October. And the other Pro models that are of 6.7 inch namely Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max will be launched later in the month of October itself after the Apple iPhone 12 lower cost models. This is expected because the Iphone 12 models have went to mass production very late as compared to every year. Other reason that the Pro model will be available later than the lower segment iPhone 12 models is that the inclusion of LiDAR Sensor along with Pro models. These Pro models are rumoured to come out later in the month of November.

 

Apple could set two different events as mentioned earlier. Apple did this while launching the Apple iPhone XS. That year also Apple launched the Apple iPhone XS a month after the launch of Apple iPhone XR.

 

If these events go as mentioned than after the October’s iPhone event, Apple is also expected to  have one more event for the Macs with its Apple Silicon for the first time. This Apple Silicon Macbook will bring the biggest change in its series. Apple Silicon is the name of the ARM based Computer Company introduced at WWDC 20 by Tim Cook. This lineup will be having the same A-series chipset technology that comes in iPhones and iPads.  With these lineup Macbooks would be having redesigned chassis, longer battery life and lighter design. According to Komiya_kj the ARM based Macbook would be priced around $799 for starting models. That is in India it will be priced around 82,897 after adding all the taxes levied on Apple products.
