Due to the great demand from fans, Apple has introduced the new watch called as Apple Watch SE. It will made available at a more affordable price with all the latest features of Apple Watch and design of Apple Watch Series 6.

DISPLAY


Apple Watch SE comes with the expansion Retina Display. It has most largest and advanced display ever made in Apple watch lineup same as Apple Watch Series 6. It allows you to see so much at a glance, more information at once and apps on your watchface, more in message, calendar and other applications. It is now very larger and easier to read because of its larger display.


PROCESSOR


For fast data processing Apple watch uses the S5 chip same as in Apple Watch series 5. It also helps in accessing information from the apps very fast. It is upto 2 times faster than the Apple watch series 3’s performance. Now unlike in Apple watch series 3, Apple watch SE also has a cellular model, so now staying connected is more easier. You can access to messages and more even if you do not have iPhone with you.

 

SENSORS & OTHER FEATURES


Apple Watch SE is loaded with features and sensors. Apple Watch has accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and altimeter same as Series 6. And other than that it also has latest motion sensor Apple watch SE has also fall detection. Apple watch SE also has always on altimeter which measures the level of altitude in real time as you climb up or down. It is perfect as it is swim proof. It is water resistant upto 50 metres. It also senses when you are washing your hands and starts the timer for 20sec. SE also has Noise app built in.



COLOUR VARIENTS


Apple Watch SE comes in two variants’ that are 44mm and 40mm. There are 3 colour options available they are Silver, gold and Space Grey.


LOOPS


Other than traditional old Apples watch band which have buckle and limited to few preset sizes, Apple in the recent event announced new solo loop. It does not have any buckle or no overlapping parts. It is made up with silicon. And on the contrary it is stretchable so that you can easily fit onto your wrist. It is durable and swim proof. It is available in 9 sizes. It comes in 7 new colours.


Another watch band is called as braided solo loop. It is braided with ultraslim silicon and would be available in 5 different colours.


A new leather band is also introduced without any buckle. There are also several updates for the Apple Nike Watch edition and Apple Watch Hermes edition.


PRICING


Apple watch SE starts at $279 for the GPS variant. Apple has always started the financing feature in which you can avail the SE watch at $12/month for 24 months. In India SE will start at Rs. 29,900.
