DESIGN


According to leaks and rumours, Apple would most probably stick to its current Apple Watch Series 5 chassis. It is possible that Apple could make the bezels more slimmer in series 6 than series 5.

 

Apple may also launch a second cheaper model that would most probably replicate the Apple’s series 3. This cheaper model might be named as Apple Watch SE. Currently, no specs are leaked about this model, but many of the major features would be cut down to reduce the pricing and make it cheaper and affordable.


In March, AppleInsider spotted that Apple has patented such a design based on the material so that the price may be furthered reduced.

 

SPECS AND FEATURES


Apple Watch series 5 came with the S5 processor, company is likely to dub the series 6 with S6 processor. Although still the specification and new features are not leaked yet.

 

In Apple Watch series 6 battery life might be the key feature. In August, Abhishek Yadav spotted a Korean company testing battery which could be for the new upcoming watch lineups. The battery size could come up with 303mAh, greater than series 5 battery by 7 mAh. Although this is not a major increase in battery capacity but can make a great difference in long lasting cause of its redefined efficiency in processor and display.


Apple Watch series 6 can come up with MicroLED than older display according to reports by Macrumors. MicroLED would be more brighter and efficient which would be result in increasing the battery life.



SENSORS AND HEALTH TRACKING


Macrumors in March 2020 spotted a code in iOS 14 to include the blood oxygen monitor in the forth coming Apple’s Series 6. It is a feature that has already featured in many Smart watch making brand like Fitbit and Garmin.
