Apple on Friday that is on October 30 announced that a new service programme that is for AirPods Pro sound issue. This programme is for AirPods Pro model that initiates noise cancellation problems on sound productions issue, offering absolute free replacement for the affected units.

 

Apple said that “small percentage” of AirPods Pro model manufactured before October 2020 has this problem and they will replace with new one absolutely for free.

 

Major problems includes:-

 

-Active Noise Cancellation is not working and also increases in background sound such as that of airplane or street noise. There also is loss of base from the sound.

 

-There is also Static or Crackling that increases in loud environment while doing exercise or talking on the phone.

 

Those who are experiencing this issue can go take their AirPods Pro model to the Apple Authorized Service Centre and then they will be running a diagnostic test. This test will check whether the left earpiece or right earpiece or both of them are having this problem and will change accordingly.

 

The programme only covers for AirPods Pro for 2 years after its first sale. This programme is not eligible for AirPods or AirPods 2nd Generation model.
